GENVIP is a research group dedicated to the study of infectious diseases and the development of vaccines using Omics tools.

The team is based in Santiago de Compostela, a historic World Heritage city with great cultural wealth and a long-established university tradition. The research group is part of the Health Research Institute of Santiago de Compostela [Instituto de Investigación Sanitaria de Santiago (IDIS)], an institution that brings together the strengths of the University of Santiago and the University Clinical Hospital of Santiago de Compostela.
